I'm a part-time and remote Research PhD student at the University of Essex. I live near Washington, DC, in the United States. My research area is Financial Forecasting where I focus on sequence modeling using artificial neural networks and machine learning algorithms. I primarily code in Python and enjoy improving my Numpy, SkLearn, and Tensorflow skills and abilities. I really enjoy the excitement of creating a predictive model and watching it work!
My past experience has brought me to creating econometric forecasts for public sector programs, working with and performing statistical analysis on datasets containing hundreds of millions of rows, and start-up work where I developed a couple of mobile app games and web applications.
