Biography
Jon Wright Is an award winning radio presenter and journalist at BBC Suffolk, specialising in encouraging new voices and sharing diverse stories. Jon has worked in radio since 2004, as a news-reader and sports presenter in Greater Manchester and Lancashire, before joining the BBC in Ipswich in 2006. He has worked across the spectrum of radio; reporting, producing and presenting, delivering multi-media projects for TV and online. He joined the Journalism Department at the University of Essex in January 2022, dividing his time between teaching on the Multimedia Journalism course and continuing his role at the BBC.
