Profile

Biography

I am a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) associate in a collaboration between the Institute of Public Health and Wellbeing at the University of Essex and YuLife, a Health and Life Insurance company operating on a Business-to-Business (B2B) model. My role is to evaluate and amplify the benefits to the health profile of customers who engage with the YuLife app using advanced machine learning and statistical models and the latest research from the public health and wellbeing domain.  I was awarded my PhD in computer science in July 2023, a few weeks before joining the KTP. My academic research during my postgraduate studies primarily focused on using artificial intelligence and signal processing to enhance the performance and explainability of Brain-Computer Interfaces for mental health diagnosis and assistive technologies.
