 Jayne Hannah



Jayne Hannah is part of the Mental Health Nurse Lecturer Team. She has over 25 years experience as a Registered Mental Health Nurse. In the late 1990's she worked at Runwell Hosptial before moving to the Community in 1999, where she worked as a Community Mental Health Nurse and a Clinical Lead for fifteen years in the Southend Community Mental Health Team. She has substantial experience in higher education. In 2003 she gained a PGCE; in 2016 she moved to work in the Quality & Commissioning team at Health Education England where she worked as a Clinical Learning Environment Lead and Quality Manager to implement HEE's Quality Strategy and Framework. Just prior to her appointment with the University of Essex she worked pan North East London representing primary and social care as part of the NEL Apprentice Nursing Associate Programme. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
