Biography
I am a Senior Research Officer in the Institute of Public Health and Wellbeing, University of Essex. Previously, I was a lecturer in the Government Department at the University of Essex. I hold a PhD in Ideology and Discourse Analysis from the University of Essex and I am a member of the Centre for Ideology and Discourse Analysis. I am deeply interest in theories of political subjectivation and critique, particularly in the work of Michel Foucault. My current work revolves around revolve around ideas of care, the political dimension of health and counter-hegemonic practices.
