Biography

I am a PhD researcher in Criminology at the University of Essex. For my PhD research, I conducted a national study of Stalking Protection Orders in England and Wales and how they are applied across the criminal justice system. I have a keen interest in interpersonal crimes such as stalking and domestic abuse, and I aim to research these topics as an academic in the future. I have extensive work experience in academic research. Among my various research roles, I have worked as a research officer on the Understanding Domestic Abuse Perpetrators Project for the Home Office and on projects focused on domestic abuse, sexual harassment, and law enforcement information exchange.
