Profile

Biography

I am a Lecturer and Clinical Tutor on the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (DCP) programme within the Division of Psychological Therapies, School of Health & Social Care. I contribute to various modules across the DCP and also support Trainee Clinical Psychologists as they progress through training. I also work as a Clinical Psychologist in Sexual Health & HIV at the Royal London Hospital, Barts Health NHS Trust. I specialise in working clinically with individuals and couples struggling with sexual difficulties, such as painful sex, unreliable erections, low desire and orgasm/ejaculatory difficulties. Additionally, within my Trust I also lead on delivering the psychology provision for people struggling with compulsive sexual behaviours, such as chemsex. I have done further training as a Psychosexual and Relationship Therapist and also completed EMDR training. As well as an interest in the psychological aspects of sexual health & HIV, I also have a specialist interest in anxiety disorders and the application of cognitive behavioural therapy in their treatment.
