Biography
I am currently an Occasional PhD Scholar at the University of Essex Business School and a final year PhD candidate in Management Sciences at COMSATS University Islamabad, Pakistan. Since 2019, I have also been serving as a Lecturer in Business Administration at the University of Education, Lahore, Pakistan. At EBS, I am conducting part of my doctoral research under the supervision of Dr. Muhammad Shujahat. My PhD research focuses on exploring corporate entrepreneurial dynamics that can foster FinTech innovation in corporations. In addition, I have research interests in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), innovation, and entrepreneurship. I have published several papers in well-reputed journals, including Technology Analysis & Strategic Management and the Sustainability Accounting, Management and Policy Journal. Currently, three of my research papers are under review in ABS-3 ranked journals. During my tenure at the University of Essex, I aim to further strengthen my research skills and competencies, produce another ABS-3/ABS-4 research paper, and benefit from the expertise of my supervisor as well as other leading researchers in the Essex research community. I also look forward to collaborating with other researchers in my field. Research Publications: - Gulzar, O., Nawaz, F., Shahzad, F., & Baig, M. H. (2025).
