Biography

My role of Web Assistant (Departments) focuses on the web presence of the departments across both Faculties, including research Centres and Institutes. This includes building new pages or developing existing ones for departments (such as main landing pages), creating and updating research projects and research groups/clusters/areas, and Centres and Institutes, and advising on web best practice (particularly accessibility). I also upload blogs and events to the website. Before joining the University of Essex I was Communications and Outreach Coordinator for the Centre for Science and Policy at the University of Cambridge. I have also previously worked for The National Archives and The National Trust. In my spare time I run my own websites (including a history blog) and their related social media channels.
