Biography
As a member of the Professional Services Team, Marcus specialises in supporting postgraduate research (PGR) students and academic staff throughout the PGR journey. With a focus on delivering efficient administrative support, Marcus plays a key role in everything from the onboarding of new students to managing studentships, coordinating payments, organising academic events, and maintaining accurate student records. Marcus works closely with a variety of departments and academic colleagues to ensure that PGR students receive the guidance, resources, and opportunities they need to succeed. Prospective MSD or PhD research students with queries are encouraged to contact Marcus at lspgr@essex.ac.uk or speak to him in the Life Sciences admin office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
