Biography

Faddia H. ALJhany is a Saudi PhD researcher at Essex Business School, specialising in Human Resource Management. Her research explores leadership succession planning in Saudi higher education institutions, focusing on Digital HRM tools and Social Capital to build resilient leadership pipelines in line with Vision 2030. With over 10 years of academic and administrative experience at Umm Al-Qura University, she has held several leadership roles. Her research employs a qualitative methodology, drawing on various theories to examine the impact of digital tools and interpersonal networks on leadership development and succession planning in Saudi universities. Faddia holds a Bachelor's degree from KAU in Administration and Organisational development, a Masters degree from the United States in Public Administration and a Graduate Certificate in HRM. She is committed to producing research with practical implications for higher education policy and human capital strategy in the Gulf region.
