Departmental Study Abroad Officers

We'll send you information on how to choose the modules you'd like to study at Essex. Your choices then get sent to a Departmental Study Abroad Officer (DSAO) for approval.

When you arrive at Essex, you may need to make some changes to the courses you originally selected. This process is managed online and you'll be given clear instructions on how to change your modules.

If you have specific questions you'd like to ask about modules, before or after you arrive at Essex, you can contact your Department Study Abroad Officer. For example, getting advice about choosing between several modules, or about which modules might be most suitable for you, or if your selected modules are rejected and would like to appeal.
