Catering for meetings
Colchester
Essex Food supply catering to internal meetings at our Colchester Campus both during the day and in the evening. We'll deliver hot or cold drinks, a working lunch, or a more substantial buffet to your meeting room. If you would like a more formal lunch away from your desks, we can cater for groups of all sizes in one of our restaurants.
Southend
Due to changes within our Southend team we have had to make the difficult decision to temporarily reduce our Event Essex and Essex Food services in Southend.
We will continue to review enquiries, but bookings will now be assessed on a case-by-case basis. This is due to the need for our Colchester-based team to travel to Southend to support any events.
To manage this interim period, the following conditions will apply for any event or catering requests:
- A minimum of two weeks’ notice is required for all bookings
- A minimum booking value of £500.00 will apply
- Cancellation fees will apply to bookings cancelled within two weeks of the event date
- We reserve the right to decline bookings where we are unable to provide adequate support
We are actively exploring long-term solutions to restore full service at Southend and will share updates as soon as possible.

Graduation
Our catering teams will not be taking bookings over Graduation between the following dates:
Spring:
Monday 7 April 2025 – Friday 11 April 2025
Summer:
Monday 14 July 2025 – Friday 18 July 2025
