The People's Emergency Briefing

On the 15 June, the Centre for Environment and Society  is hosting a screening and discussion of the People's Emergency Briefing. The film features footage from last November’s National Emergency Briefing to Parliament, which brought together leading UK experts in climate science, food security, health, economics, national security and nature. After the 45-minute film, we'll have a discussion of the implications of the climate and ecological emergency and what we as a University community can do to respond to the crises. Students, researchers, scientists as well as local politicians and members of the public are all invited.
