BioYUFE Webinar: Nature-based Solutions for climate-change adaptation

A discussion on nature-based solutions and adaptation to rapid global change.

SCAIRY (Sustainable Climate Action through Interdisciplinary Research in YUFE) invites you to join a BioYUFE webinar discussing nature-based solutions as a means for adapting to rapid global change.

In this ECR-led event, Dr Ramya Ambikapathi (University of Eastern Finland) and PhD Candidate Kristina Chilver (University of Essex) will present their work highlighting different aspects of nature-based solutions from cities to coasts.

The session is a one-hour webinar followed by a 90-minute workshop. Joined by James Rice (University of Essex); Alex Hooft van Huysduynen (University of Antwerp); and Anna Street (Le Mans University), the workshop will introduce a range of environmental, socio-economic, historical, and cultural contexts for why adaptation measures succeed in some regions while facing resistance in others.

If you are interested in this webinar, please register on Eventbrite. A Zoom invitation will be emailed to you before the webinar.
