We are delighted to be welcoming back Essex alumnus Sonny Onyegbula, LLM International Human Rights Law, 1998, for a special career talk.
Sonny recently retired from the United Nations after a distinguished 21-year career in human rights and international law, with extensive field experience across several countries. He will be speaking on “Careers in Human Rights at the United Nations and Civil Society”, and the session will be chaired by Professor Geoff Gilbert, from Essex Law School and the Human Rights Centre.
This will be a valuable opportunity to gain practical insights into careers in human rights, both within the UN and in the wider civil society sector.
