Film Screening: BEYOND THE LIES


Beyond the lies is a documentary film which reveals the bravery of the Iranian protesters and whistleblowers that exposed the Iranian Security Forces’ November 2019 brutal crackdown on country-wide protests and led to the establishment of the Iran Atrocities (Aban) Tribunal.
This will be followed by a panel discussion featuring:
  • Hamid Sabi, co-counsel of the Aban Tribunal
  • Shadi Sadr, co-organiser of the Aban Tribunal
  • Elham Saudi, member of the panel of judges of the Aban Tribunal
  • chaired by Carla Ferstman, member of the panel of judges of the Aban Tribunal and Director of the Essex Human Rights Centre.
