Six Lessons from Reports into Racism in UK Higher Education

Dr Jonathan Saha, Durham University

There have been numerous reports into racial inequality and harassment in the UK Higher Education sector published over the last decade, reports that add to scores of wider reports into institutional racism. In this talk I will draw out six key lessons from these studies that can provide a basis for meaningful actions to make universities better places for racially minoritised staff and students.
