University Mental Health Day

Join us for University Mental Health Day to come together as a community to make student mental health a priority and participate in our peer-to-peer activities.

University Mental Health Day is happening on Thursday 14 March 2024.

University Mental Health Day is an annual day to get the nation talking about student mental health and working together to make mental health a university-wide priority.

Our focus this year will be on peer-to-peer support and why connecting with others in the community is important for your wellbeing.

Join us to learn about the wellbeing services available at the University, as well as from external partners. Meet the teams from the Student Wellbeing and Inclusivity Service at all campuses and learn how they can support you during your time at university.

At Colchester Campus, you'll be able to meet representatives from the Faith Centre, as well as our partners from Open Road and local mental health teams. The SU Wellbeing Ambassadors will be running a 'Make your own fidget spinner' stall and the therapy dogs will be in attendance from 12pm (midday) to 2pm.

The Student Wellbeing and Inclusivity Service will also be running stalls at our Southend and Loughton campuses, so please pop by for a chat.
