Join the Inaugural International Law Lecture: The European Court of Human Rights as an actor in international law By Human Rights Judge; Tim Eicke.

Essex Law School invites you to the Inaugural International Law Lecture with Human Rights.

This invitation is open to all staff and students from across disciplines.

About the event

In this event, Judge Tim Eicke will reflect on the way the European Court engages with general public international law and how general public law engages with the European Court.

Speaker

Judge Tim Eicke, Judge at the European Court of Human Rights. As a barrister, Judge Eicke regularly presented cases before the UK Supreme Court, the Court of Justice of the European Union and the European Court of Human Rights.

Chair

Dr Meagan Wong, Lecturer in Law, Essex Law School, University of Essex. Dr Meagan Wong is a Lecturer in Law and the Founding Director of the LLM in International Law postgraduate degree at Essex Law School.
