Join Residence Life in the Art Exchange for Play with Clay!
The Art Exchange is a great place to spend a lunch break, bring your friends, or meet someone new. Some of our Residents' Assistants will also be around to chat with if you needed any information or advice.
These are weekly sessions on Wednesday from 12 - 3pm in the Art Exchange and are FREE of charge. All materials supplied so just turn up to have a go any time whilst we're open.
This week we’re getting the clay out.
Come along and make your own pots, cups and table top sculptures with artists Tom and Iris on hand to show you how. You can even take inspiration from ‘Precarious’ – our current exhibition – and make your own piggy bank!
It’s easier than it looks and you’ll be surprised at how good your results will be. And it’s also a great way to relax and to make new friends while playing with clay.
We also have the standard offer of arts and crafts supplies such as watercolour painting, colouring, and knitting and crochet supplies.
|8 February||Sewing and upcycling|
|15 February||Create you own zines|
The Art Exchange is accessible to wheelchair users.
All students are welcome to attend. If you have any additional needs please email us in advance (firstname.lastname@example.org) to discuss how we can make the sessions more accessible for you. Alternatively, if you prefer, please drop by one Wednesday to see how the session are run and discuss in person. We have RAs (student staff) working every week who are able to provide 121 support with the activities, if this is something you would like just let us know when you arrive.
