Who are Essex Abroad? 

Essex Abroad are the student mobility team here at the University of Essex.  We support students to have an international experience during their studies.

We have a range of programmes that are suitable for all types of students.

Our flagship programme is the year abroad, this is only for Undergraduate students. 

Our other programmes are YUFE, summer schools, volunteering, internships and research abroad.  These programmes are open to all students from all levels of study.

Essex Abroad are hosting a wide range of events, these will take place both on campus and on zoom, over the coming weeks, so please visit our event page to find out more and reserve a spot.

The first event on 23 January 2023 is aimed at UG students currently in their first year who are interested in the year abroad programme.  At this event you can join the team for a cuppa and a biscuit and ask any questions you might have.
