We look forward to welcoming teachers and advisers to another online session in our successful CPD series, designed to raise your awareness of student finance and develop new skills to help you 'Teach to the Top'.

Session outline:

3.45pm: Higher Education Update with Rachel Wier, University of Essex

Learn more about the student finance process, upcoming changes and how to speak to your students about considering the financial implications of university in the future.

This short session will leave you more confident to discuss finance with your students and feeling better informed about current student finance arrangements.

4.30pm: Teach to the Top with Claire Grosvenor, Dragonfly Training Ltd.

Apply the findings from recent research and discover a whole new approach to challenging all pupils in your classrooms.

Too often, teachers have felt that the best way to meet the full needs of a class is to almost have planned three different lessons for the same class!

We know that 'teaching to the middle' can 'drag down' the overall level of a lesson when we would rather do what we really want, which is to 'drag up'.
