What is the Frontrunner Placement Scheme?

Frontrunners is the University’s on-campus placement scheme, designed specifically for those of you with little or no work experience with the aim of building your knowledge, skills and confidence in the workplace. In addition, Frontrunner Plus placements are available to anyone who has previously completed Frontrunners, or has other previous work experience. These placements offer you the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge on a placement involving more advanced tasks or increased responsibilities. Taking part in the scheme comes with the added bonus of getting paid for your time.

This year’s placements will be advertised on the Student Directory and Career Hub in early December, with the window for applications closing in January 2022. Placements run from February – May 2022 and are open to students at all stages of study. They can take place across all areas of the University and the Students Union, on all three campuses, or remotely where appropriate support is available.

Book your place via CareerHub.
