Join the Centre for Criminology for an insightful online seminar with Nick Fowler, Head of Border Force International.

As Head of Border Force International, Nick Fowler oversees an international network of Border Force officers operating in over 20 countries across the world to tackle UK-facing high harm serious and organised crime threats.  This includes delivering new capabilities and intelligence exchange relationships in priority locations in furtherance of tackling modern slavery and human trafficking, child sexual abuse and exploitation, drug/firearms trafficking, illicit money movements and the illegal wildlife trade. 

Nick has worked in the field of international law enforcement liaison for over twelve years, including multi-year deployments in South America, the Caribbean and Central Asia for the National Crime Agency and Serious Organised Crime Agency.  During his operational and strategic work, Nick has led on the development of capabilities to tackle child sexual abuse and exploitation in the UK and across three continents.  In 2020, Nick was awarded the Investigator of the Year accolade by the Child Rescue Coalition for his strategic leadership across multiple jurisdictions.
