Spend a virtual morning with us to get experience what it might be like to study History at Higher Education level, the kind of courses available, and the experience you would get studying in the Department of History at the University of Essex.

When you choose to study history at Essex, you have the opportunity to immerse yourself in a diverse array of subjects. Whether you are interested in the fascinating histories of multicultural societies in Europe, the Americas, Africa and Asia, the growth of democracy, transatlantic slavery, or the legacies of colonialism, (among many others subjects), our degrees allow you to develop skills and expertise that you can apply to the world today.

The morning will include an introductory session, as well as topical and interactive sessions with our expert academics so that you can get a feel for what studying will be like and where it can take you.

This event is open to groups from schools and colleges, as well as individual prospective students.
