Academic Skills Workshops (Wellbeing)
Student Development Department
All students, especially those with dyslexia, dyspraxia, ADHD or difficulty concentrating, may find ‘read aloud’ and ‘dictation’ technology useful.
This session explores how all students can improve learning using Microsoft Office ‘read aloud’ and ‘dictate’ options, as well as ‘read aloud’ library databases and online textbooks.
Skills for Success are here to help you succeed in your studies and achieve your potential. We offer support and resources to help improve your writing, maths, research, study skills and English language, no matter what your discipline or level of study. All Skills for Success workshops can be booked via CareerHub.
Visit our academic skills webpages or go to the Student Services Hub in the Silberrad Centre (Colchester) or the Forum (Southend) to find out more about our services, and how we can help.
