Interested in building new values for business, society and our wider community?

The new event series, a collaboration between Essex Business School and Studio X – Innovation Centre, invites members of the University community to discuss their experiences of creating and growing successful a business. Drawing on the ideas and experiences of entrepreneurs, policy makers and researchers, we will explore ways in which entrepreneurship can drive economic, environmental and social change.

To open the first event, we are delighted to welcome two distinguished alumni from the School of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering, Ankit Mehrotra, founder of Dineout and Yiping Xia, founder of Mobike. These winners of Study UK Alumni Awards are shining examples of Essex's entrepreneurial spirit and join us to discuss how they created new ventures in India and China respectively, and grew them into enormously successful businesses.
