Come along to watch 3 TED Lectures which focus on topics on diversity. There are a range of speakers who will talk about equality, diversity and inclusivity both in and outside of the workplace. There will be an opportunity to discuss what you’ve learned or share your own thoughts with others. The TED lectures highlight the importance of diversity and accepting differences from all walks of life. Residents should be able to understand this importance, as well as be more open-minded to other schools of thought that may differ to their own. Hosted by RA Felix (South Courts).

Bollywood Night - Screening of 'Queen' (2013)

Let’s celebrate Indian cinema with a screening of 'Queen', one of the highest grossing films of 2014. 'Queen' is a comedy-drama film about a young woman who has been jilted at the alter but nevertheless, decides to travel solo on her pre-booked honeymoon. Although, this film is seen as an influential feminist film, different to conventional Bollywood films, it is still culturally relevant to contemporary Indian society. The screening of 'Queen' will take place over Zoom, so join the Zoom meeting to receive a weblink to the Netflix Teleparty. Ensure you have the Teleparty extension installed onto your Chrome browser.
