7.30pm onwards
Zoom Meeting ID: 989 4043 1047

Are you starting to think about your options for the next academic year, and where you will live in the local Colchester area? This event will be hosted by a current Essex student who will give a short presentation on the benefits of starting to look for student rentals now, which areas are popular for students, and give examples of reasonable rent prices and what you should be looking for. This will then be followed by an opportunity to go online to seek rental properties for students for the next academic year. Hosted by RA Kris (South Towers). Please note that this is not an event designed to give rental or financial advice. SU Homes has a good range of guides available on how to rent in England.

  • DIY Decorate your Uni Room

Sunday 6 December 2020
4pm onwards
Zoom Meeting ID: 921 8086 014

Let's get together for an art party! Self-isolation and lockdown has made students spend more time in their University accommodation bedroom, more time than ever before.
It's important to make your space homely and comfortable. Getting creative and expressing your artistic license can be a great way to de-stress as well as produce artworks to display in your University bedroom. Share your DIY ideas with other students; our RA will talk through creative projects you can do to make your bedroom homely. Hosted by RA Keshma (South Towers).

Remember, all Residence Life programmes are open to both on and off campus students from any location – no booking needed, just log on to Zoom and join the event at the start time. Find out more about using Zoom. If you have any suggestions for future programmes, please email us
