EVENT CANCELLED: Environment Week 2020

We’d love everyone to join us for our week-long festival (16-20 March 2020) that celebrates the things we can all do to reduce our impact on the environment.

Monday 16 March 2020 - Join in our How Bad are Bananas? game where you can test your carbon footprint knowledge. You can also take part in a Green Impact workshop or visit our repair cafe. 

Tuesday 17 March 2020 - Visit the team today to learn more about solar panels and our carbon emissions target. Alternatively, take part in a mindful tree walk or have a go at making an environment-themed badge. 

Wednesday 18 March 2020 -  Find out more about the sustainability team's plans to make our campus hedgehog friendly. There will also be a short talk on environmental law and an art workshop in collaboration with Art Exchange. 

Thursday 19 March 2020 - Drop by the sustainability stall on Square 3 to find out how recycling works at the University. The team will also be running a workshop for reusable bag printing. 

Friday 20 2020 - Have a chat with the sustainability team and find out what their plans are. There will be also be a small ads live event. 

As an institution, the University has an important part to play, but each and every one of us, as individuals, can do things that add up to make a difference. Let’s work together to make a change. #littlechoicesbigchanges
