Connected communities: Building resilience in communities near you

Discover how to help connect the lonely and isolated back with their communities. Join local authority workers and third sector organisations for an insightful seminar, as researchers present the Connected Communities EU-funded project.

Suffolk County Council leads 6 other local authorities in the UK and France as they embark on the 4-year Connected Communities project, designed specifically to increase connectedness amongst the lonely and isolated. Join this free event and meet the experts dedicated to sharing research-based insights into social prescribing.

This event will be lead by Dr Gina Yannitell Reinhardt from the Department of Government. The event will run from 10am - 12pm on Wednesday 6 November at The Forum on the Southend campus at the University of Essex.

This event is part of the nationwide Festival Of Social Science, it is open to the public and completely free of charge.
