Plucked is a play created by current students at Essex. In the light of the #MeToo movement, it is an amalgamation of stories and experiences that students decided to share during numerous interviews when asked: ‘What it is like to be a woman at the University of Essex?’
This project is agitprop at its finest, an urgent piece of theatre, creating a platform for new voices to be heard, sometimes hilarious, often shocking, igniting a spark for change to happen.
