As well as your department events, make sure you attend the following events:

  • Registration - to become an official student at the University of Essex it is essential you register during Welcome Week. Find out when your department registration session is and what to take with you.
  • Essex English Language Assessment - The Essex English Language Assessment is compulsory for all international students with English as an additional language. If your first language is not English, you will need to attend a briefing
