The Philosophy and Art History Research Seminar meets weekly in term on Thursday afternoons to discuss a paper by a visiting philosopher, art historian, or a member of our academic staff.

This week's speaker is Professor Alice Crary whose area of specialisation includes Ethics, Social Philosophy and Feminist Philosophy.

Alice has published a number of books and articles on various philosophical subjects including Objectivity, Political Thought and Perspectives on Diamondian Ethics as well as numerous works on Wittgenstein.

Alice is a fellow of the Oxford Centre for Animal Ethics and is currently Professor of Philosophy and Tutorial Fellow at Regent’s Park College at Oxford.

The seminar will be followed by informal drinks at Top Bar and a meal.
