Shut Up & Revise

Cut through the distractions and focus on revision

Stressed about exams, but struggling to get down to revision?

This workshop is designed to help you prepare for, and perform in your exams.  In the first part, we will look at common revision problems, and strategies for dealing with them.  We will then look at past papers, and discuss how best to both get ready for, and do well in the exams you will be taking.

In the second part, we will use a variation of the Pomodoro Technique, to give you blocks of time in a peaceful, distraction-free environment, where you will be asked to switch off mobile phones and wifi/internet access, and encouraged to get down to work.

In the regular breaks, you can ask the workshop facilitator any questions, and tea and coffee will be provided, along with some snacks to keep your energy up.

All students need to bring their own laptop/device or materials to work with, and other than that, there is nothing you need to do, except exactly what the title says - shut up and revise.

To book your place, please contact, or visit, the TDC Helpdesk.
