On 5 December 2018, 2-5pm, room 5A.118 (Colchester Campus) the Faculty of Humanities will host an event on medical humanities.

Medical humanities is an emerging multidisciplinary field that includes the arts and humanities and social sciences, and their application to medical education and practice and to the understanding of the public's health and well-being. The Faculty of Humanities has significant emerging and established strengths in this field. This event is an opportunity to find out more about the research that scholars elsewhere in the Faculty are undertaking in this area, and to tell us more about your own research.

If you would like to participate by offering a short presentation (3 minutes, 3 slides) please contact Tracey Loughran with a short title.

Presenters do not have to be experts in the medical humanities, or even to be working on fully developed projects - if you think your work might fit under this umbrella, please come along and talk to like-minded people.

If you would like to attend but do not wish to present, please confirm attendance to Kristina Newbatt.
