Forgetting your native language: consequences to career prospects

This one-day workshop and public lecture will focus on the difficulties faced by individuals returning to their native language.

Take part in this round table debate and discuss the linguistic and career challenges faced upon a person's return to their first language.

Join Professor Monika Schmid from the Department of Language and Linguistics at the University of Essex, from 9am - 5pm on Friday 9th November at Birkbeck, University of London. She will be presenting alongside Professor Jean-Marc Dewaele from Birkbeck, Dr Marije Michel of the University of Groningen and Dr Beverley Costa of the Pasalo Project
