This time next year you'll be enrolled in a different university somewhere around the world, immersing yourself in a new country and culture. Sounds pretty exciting, doesn't it?
There are a lot of steps to take before you reach your destination abroad, and this session will take you through the first stage of planning and applying.
We'll talk about:
What universities are available to you as a Government student
- Where Government students currently on their year abroad are around the world and what kind of things they're studying
How & what you need to research before making your application
- How to apply
- Other international opportunities available as well as the year abroad
It's really important you attend - book your place on this session as soon as possible.
If you're a Year 2 student not currently on a degree including the year abroad, but you're thinking of changing, please still come along to get the relevant information.
You are also invited to join any of the regional specific sessions we'll be running throughout the Autumn term which talks more about what it's like to live and study in specific regions such as North America, South America, Asia, Europe, Australia etc. Find the dates and times on our other events and sign up.
