One of the most common complaints from lecturers is that their students have not answered the question.

If you want to avoid making that mistake, the key first step is to understand what the question is asking you to do.  In this session we will look at analysing and unpacking assignment instructions so that you can see what is expected from you with different types of question and make sure you are approaching your writing in the right way.

Our workshops run all year round, and cover all aspects of academic skills.  We also offer drop in writing clinics where you can get help with your work.

Have a browse through the sessions that are available this term, or pop along to TF.2.19 to find out more.
