Our series of workshops will help you get to grips with algebra.
Simultaneous equations are a set of independent equations that involve one or more common variables. We use the word simultaneous because there is at least one solution that satisfies all the equations at the same time.In this workshop, you'll learn what simultaneous equations are and discover methods for solving them, including graphing, the elimination method and the substitution method.
You can book this stand-alone workshop or the series of 4 Algebra workshops: Evaluating Formulae, Rearranging Formulae, Solving Equations, and Problem solving using simultaneous equations.
The TDC will be offering a range of maths and statistics workshops throughout the term. Visit our Helpdesk in the Silberrad Student Centre to find out more.
