Travel and accomodation

Travelling by car

If you’re travelling by car, take the A12 and exit towards Colchester (A133). Follow the A133 towards Clacton and continue up to the B1028 exit for Wivenhoe. Turn right into Boundary Road then follow our signs for the car park. If using a sat nav, use the postcode CO7 9HT.

The closest place to park is the Valley Car Park. This car park is adjacent to the Ivor Crewe Lecture Hall where you will need to check in on the day. Parking is free on weekends so no need to pay and display – yippee!

Travelling by train

There are frequent trains from London Liverpool Street, to the Colchester mainline (COL) with connection to Ipswich, Norwich, Felixstowe, Harwich and beyond.

You can catch the number 61 or 62 First Group bus service. Both buses run frequently from the Colchester main station to the University campus in Wivenhoe (just ask to be dropped at the University of Essex Business School).
