One of the most common complaints from lecturers is that their students have not answered the question.

If you want to avoid making that mistake, the key first step is to understand what the question is asking you to do.  In this session we will look at analysing and unpacking assignment instructions so that you can see what is expected from you with different types of question and make sure you are approaching your writing in the right way.

Our workshops run throughout the spring term, and cover all aspects of academic skills.  You can also book a 1:1 appointment with an advisor to talk over anything in your studies that you need help with.

Have a browse through the sessions that are available this term, (under the Southend tab), or pop along to TF2.19 to find out more.
