The Catalyst Project is partnering with the ESRC Business and Local Government Data Research Centre to offer a free and informative event on ‘The Effectiveness of Evaluation’, delivered as part of this year’s Festival of Social Sciences (FOSS).

The event will take place during the evening of Thursday 9th November, within the Essex Business School at the University of Essex Colchester campus.

In this workshop, organisations and business employees will learn how they can enhance their practices and processes through effective evaluations. Social science researchers with experience of conducting practical evaluations will discuss why evaluation is valuable, and how you can use it to deliver better products and services.
You will hear about techniques for undertaking evaluations that will really inform practice, drawing on examples of how evaluation has been used within different organisations across different sectors.
You will have the chance to participate in a simulated evaluation exercise.
