Using Reading Lists

Make your reading as effective as possible.

If you are daunted by lengthy reading lists and don’t know where to begin, this session is for you.

This session will show you how to make the best use of reading lists. It will guide you through how to select and prioritise the most relevant and useful texts, and show you how to make your reading as effective as possible.

Please note there is a session on using TALIS Aspire software on October 19th.  This session is focused on how to cope with your reading lists and make your reading more effective.

Our workshops run all year round at our Helpdesk in the Silberrad Student Centre, and cover all aspects of academic skills, maths and statistics.  You can also book a 1:1 appointment with an advisor to talk over anything in your studies that you need help with.

Have a browse through the sessions that are available this term, or pop along to the Helpdesk to find out more.
