Celebrating 10 years of turning ideas into impact

For ten years, Click has empowered our students, staff, and alumni to turn bright ideas into reality through its innovative crowdfunding platform. 

Since launching in 2015, we've provided over £210,000 in match funding to support more than 500 projects.

Behind each project are students, staff and alumni whose ideas and ambitions have come to life thanks to Click. Together, we've built a culture of creativity, collaboration and philanthropy.

A decade of success

As we celebrate this milestone, we want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported Click over the years. Our generous alumni whose donations make match funding possible, the students, staff and alumni with bold ideas and every donor whose contribution, however big or small, helps bring those ideas to life. With your support, we have:

• Supported over 500 individuals and groups to successfully fundraise for their chosen projects
• Secured thousands of donations from alumni and supporters, enabling us to continue offering match funding for student-led projects 
• Provided expert guidance resulting in 97% of projects reaching their fundraising targets
• Backed a diverse range of activities, including sports, arts, and educational trips
• Empowered a vibrant community of students, staff, and alumni to make an impact

What makes Click special

Unlike big fundraising sites that take a cut of your donations, Click is Essex's own crowdfunding platform that's completely free to use meaning you keep 100% of what you raise. It was designed to help our community fund projects that truly make a difference.

And for students, we go even further. To enhance the student experience and break down financial barriers, we offer match funding of up to £500 per eligible project. This means that every donation has double the impact. Our match funding is only possible thanks to the generosity of alumni and supporters who contribute to the Student Experience Fund.
