At Essex, we provide our taught students with online reading lists which collate essential and recommended reading materials for students to ensure consistent and equal access. Reading lists include access to online resources, availability of physical items in the library, and scans of recommended chapters.
Online reading lists inform the Library Services Content Delivery Team about which titles are required for teaching in the upcoming year, which then allows us to purchase any titles that we do not currently hold where necessary. This means it is important that online reading lists are up to date!
Hopefully, you have already reviewed and updated the course materials, including online reading lists, for your modules. If you are running behind and need a helping hand to guide you through how to update the online reading lists for your modules, then the Content Delivery Team will be running three training sessions this September on how to update and publish the reading lists for your modules.
