People are living longer, and the proportion of older workers in the UK workforce is increasing. This means that, as an employer, it is essential that we consider how we attract, support, include and develop people as they age.
Older workers are a hugely valuable asset to the University and we want to ensure we have an age-friendly culture and working environment so we can attract, retain and learn from their immense experience and knowledge. If you're an older worker we want to understand your experiences and ideas, to help us shape an inclusive and supportive working environment for our older colleagues.
We have recently worked with colleagues who have been invaluable in helping to develop our approach to neuro-inclusion, so we are again reaching out to colleagues to gain insights from your experiences, and to help with 'The Body at Work’ policy development at Essex.
