Both typically developing children and people with aphasia are observed to systematically modify their production of words containing consonant sequences (also consonant clusters).
Focusing specifically on French consonant sequences, this ongoing project accounts for observed speech errors in language acquisition (children) and language loss (people with aphasia) with the notion of phonological complexity.
