Ilse Verwulgen

Biography

I'm responsible for all processes and procedures surrounding appeals, complaints and OIA. I ensure University policies and procedures applicable to students are applied properly, consistently and fairly, and maintain the student records. I also advise on procedure and precedence where appropriate, providing support to the work of the Academic Registrar's Office. I worked in the Essex Law School for 5 years before joining the Student Progress Team, and, as such, I know the ins and outs of various departmental processes, in particular assessment and exam board work. I previously worked in Communications for 8 years, so I have detailed knowledge of all areas of communications, including branding, internal communications, press relations, marketing and digital communications.
